About Us

Anthony runs the day-to-day operations and has more than 20 years' experience in the construction industry. He has lived and worked in the Greater Portland area for most of his life. Starting out in civil construction after foregoing an engineering scholarship, Anthony has experience in golf course design & construction, heavy civil, marine, electrical substation/transmission/distribution, municipal infrastructure, and general building construction. This experience has created a passion within Anthony to implement performance and technology into his projects whenever possible. He is always looking for opportunities to increase the comfort and efficiency in any building. Anthony also owns DeRice Consulting, a firm that provides development and construction management services throughout Southern and Central Maine.

Robert is a Maine native and has lived and practiced Dentistry in the Greater Portland area for his entire life. He received his undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College with a major in Pre-Med and Classics. He also minored in Physics and Chemistry and has always been involved in construction and technology. Every summer as a teen and through college he worked at various projects including the "new" Portland Jetport in the later 60's and the new US Rt 295 through Portland which opened in 1974. He graduated Tufts Dental in 1977 and opened a private practice. In the early 80's he developed a comprehensive dental software package. In the late 80's he and a partner conceived, developed and managed the construction of The Woodlands Club and community in Falmouth. After those three years he entered back into dentistry and recently semi-retired. Robert's background in development and interest in technology has always driven him to find better systems to put in his buildings. He has owned most types of heating and cooling systems over his lifetime. Systems fueled by wood, coal, oil, electricity, propane, and natural gas. Whether the heat has come from air, steam, or water, he has tried them all. Robert has been following the development of heat pumps for more than 25 years and jumped at the opportunity to get involved in the industry.
